As some of you may or may not know, I am a sophomore coxswain in my first semester on the Men's Rowing Team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Rowing is a sport that demands not only physical strength but also mental fortitude, teamwork, and commitment. Our team embodies these qualities, and we aspire to achieve greatness both on and off the water. However, the cost of equipment, travel, and coaching can be daunting for a club sport like ours. Your support will directly contribute to our team's success, allowing us to purchase much-needed equipment, provide coaching, and cover travel expenses for competitions, including 'Round the Duck' in High Point, Head of the Charles in Massachusetts, Head of the Hooch in Chattanooga, and Wahoo Henley in Charlottesville, all this Fall season. Your generosity will help us continue our journey towards excellence and represent UNC with pride. This year, we are participating in a 24-hour Ergathon challenge, where every member of the team will row for about 30 minutes from midnight on October 14th to midnight on October 15th.
