I came to UNC not knowing anyone. I kept trying to find my people, going as far as trying out for every single acapella team. Then one day, Coach Work walked up to me and told me I should be a coxswain. I joined the team the next week and I have loved every day since. The guys on this team are my brothers. I would do anything for them and I know I can say the same for them. Competing with them last year was one of the top highlights of UNC. I am so excited for what we hope to succeed this year as a team. Because we are a club team, the university does not provide us with the funding necessary for full successful operations. For our Ergathon we will be rowing a rowing machine for 24 hrs straight (~30 min shift each) from midnight on October 14th to midnight of the 15th. Rowing is a very fun and demanding team sport but equipment and travel for regattas and training is not cheap. We are soliciting donations to help us maintain our boats and enable us to fund training trips and regattas for the entire year. We do not take your donation lightly and thank you for your support!
