Personally, I spent a few years working in a senior Life Care Community a place that held countless stories of lives well lived. Some of them though were not as fortunate and experienced the challenges of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, conditions that stole their memories and depleted their physical abilities.Witnessing the frustration of forgotton names, their determination to complete simple tasks, and their unwavering courage to face each day with a smile is my reason to support this amazing community event and worthy mission.
