At one month old, the pediatrician suggested that our Godson, Oliver Coe, might need some further evaluation. The further evaluation eventually led the Coe family to a geneticist and over time they were given a diagnosis of Cornelia de Lange syndrome. If you google it,  it is very scary  to say the least and has a lot of unknowns. Emily and Matt were able to enroll Oliver in therapies at The Bell Center that helped him meet milestones they were told he may never meet. It also gave them support and comfort that they needed. Oliver is now a thriving first grader and although they may not have all answers for what the future holds for Oliver, the Bell Center has been a big part of their story and Oliver's success. 
 

I am running the Berlin Marathon with Oliver's mom, Emily, and am fundraising for The Bell Center. I wanted to raise money for this amazing organization because of the profound impact that it has had on Oliver,and also so that other families could have that kind of support and help. Additionally , I personally wanted to run as a tribute to all parents and caregivers of children at The Bell Center. During Oliver's time there, Emily and Matt made so many sacrifices to get him the very best help possible. They sacrificed financially, in time, they did what every parent of a child at Bell Center is doing- anything and everything to give them the best possible outcomes in life.
