Hello! My name is Jordan Bearden, I'm a 24 year old service industry professional looking to take the big jump from spectator to runner! This will be my very first RunDsiney event and I couldn't be more excited to share my training and costume construction with you all!
Why I’m running
I've never really been a long distance runner but I've always believed you can do anything you set your mind to! After spectating many RunDisney events I finally let my roommate and long time friend talk me into a run! I've always felt a personal connection to Princess Tiana as she was someone that was a lot like me, she worked hard, made sacrifices and tough decisions, and above all she remembered that love is the most important ingredient in any recipe! Though this may be a new frontier for me it's just one more new challenge to conquer and I can't wait to become the best version of myself yet!
