Hi everyone my name is Nicole & I registered for the RunDisney 10K through Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation! Those who know me know how much I love Disney! This past trip I completed my first ever 10K at a RunDisney event & I was hooked! The atmosphere & everything else about the event made waking up at 2am worth it! The profit I chose is The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism. Former NFL Quarterback, Doug Flutie, and his wife Laurie started the Doug Flutie, Jr. Flutie Foundation for Autism in 1998 after their son, Dougie, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. Their personal experience of raising a son on the autism spectrum inspired them to help others on an equally long and challenging journey.
