If you know Adam, you know he is a social guy and he loves his friends! The Arc has been providing services and supporting Adam, and therefore us, for most of his soon-to-be 25 year old life. Since Adam has intellectual and developmental disabilities, he needs the support that he receives from The Arc through group and individual respite, working on goals and group social outings to do fun things such as one of Adam's favorites, bowling. The Arc helps Adam to be engaged with hs peers andhis community. I honestly don't know what we would do without the support and services of The Arc. We are walking in the 27th Annual Arc March on April 6 to raise $42,000 to help bridge funding gaps in the programs and services and to raise awareness about intellectual and developmental disabilities.
