Think about all of the times through the day you are able to do something (drive, follow instructions, review & respond to emails, put together a proposal) because you can READ. All kids deserve the chance to built literacy for their long term success. I'm fundraising for Page Ahead's A Taste for Reading benefit luncheon to help build home libraries for Washington kids who really need them. The pandemic has made it even harder for kids in communities of concentrated low income to access books and keep their reading skills up—but giving kids their own books at home, that they can read at any time, will make a difference!
