I will be running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and hope to contribute to an organization that empowers children diagnosed with cancer and their families. 

Team One Step supports Camp One Step by Children's Oncology Services, an organization that operates camps and other recreational and educational experiences for children who have been diagnosed with cancer. One Step Programs aim to support kids by providing an environment of hope, strength, and empowerment. 

Supporting children with cancer has been a cause close to my heart since I lost a close friend to cancer in elementary school. I have attended summer camp for the past 13 years as a camper/counselor where I have met my greatest friends and made the silliest memories. I truly believe the camp environment is a magical place and can have a tremendous impact in a child's life. Team One Step is a phenomenal organization with a mission that means a lot to me.
