I have been associated with Brandywine Valley SPCA ever since my husband and I moved to Delaware in June 2017. We had a lot of extra towels and linens from combining our two households and I called to see it the shelter could use them. Once at the shelter, I asked about volunteering and the rest is history! I spend 1-3 afternoons with the cats and kittens every week, and I love what I do! Helping to socialize crazy kittens and shy cats so they can find their furever homes is very rewarding. I also sponsor the fees tor cats/kittens and keep a scrapbook with stories and pics of all of them...so far, I have sponsored over 50!
