We're raising money for Lexington Habitat for Humanity!
Social justice has always been an important aspect of life at Historic St. Paul Catholic Church, and we continue to work to uplift those around us through our outreach and community initiatives. Our Catholic Social Teachings encourage us to care for the poor and vulnerable, and one of our Laudato Si Goals is to hear the cry of the poor. As such, we will be participating in the Habitat for Humanity Catholic Build this year, and in addition to volunteer opportunities for our parishioners, we have set a goal of $3,000 to raise for the program.
We aren’t raising the money alone; CHI/St. Joseph has committed the first $20,000 toward the build, and the Catholic churches in Lexington have been asked to raise the remaining $50,000. We hope that you will prayerfully consider making a donation to the program, or volunteering for some service hours. No experience required!
Please continue to follow our progress toward our goal, and let us know if you have any questions!
