Christmas was Nola's favorite holiday, and she couldn't wait for the season to begin! She sat on pins and needles for the arrival of her Elf on a Shelf, Mary and broke the "no touching rule" by bringing her everywhere she went. Santa even let her keep Mary after Christmas to keep her company in the hospital. Nola loved all that made Christmas magical and wanted everyone around her to feel the same excitement. Nola spent her last Christmas morning in the hospital, but it was magical, nonetheless due to the donations of so many generous people. This year, I want to bring that same excitement and magic to the kids of St. Joe's and would love the help of my family and friends. As a patient of St. Joseph's Children's Hospital for 2 years, Nola got to see firsthand how special Christmas in July is. Our family will forever be grateful for the generosity of the community who came together to help brighten the days of the children fighting for their lives. So, in honor of my sweet niece, Nola, my goal is to raise $811.15 (Nola was born on 8-11-15) as well as collect toy donations that will be delivered to St. Joe's Children's Hospital on July 26th. I would truly appreciate any help towards this goal as it is very near and dear to my heart. Toy donations can be delivered to me personally or I can come get them.
