2024 Disneyland® Half Marathon Weekend

Why I'm running...walking...briskly skipping...maybe, possibly limping...
Late last year, I found out a friend had high-functioning autism. I had never known anyone in my life to have autism, and finding out that someone whom I admired and respected - someone who has been an integral part of my life and helped me through so much - had autism opened my eyes.
When the opportunity arose to run the 5k of the 2024 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend through a charity, I researched all the organizations and came across Dougie’s Team, benefiting the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism. Thinking of my friend, I knew this was the organization I wanted to help and support. Their mission is to help people and families affected by autism live life to the fullest. The work they do is guided by the following values:

These are all values that really resonated with me, and I was so very happy to be accepted by them to participate on their team for the Disneyland 5k, to take place 1/12/2024! So please help me achieve Dougie’s Team’s mission - and my goal as well - in honor of my friend and those affected by autism - by donating to this wonderful cause!!

- Add photos to the image galleries below and to the side of anything that may apply!
- Don’t forget to save before you leave your page or else your edits won’t save!
