The B's Knees are excited for the 2024 annual walk to raise funds to support the Hemophilia Association of the Capital Area. We look forward again to raising these funds to support the bleeding disorders community to support HACA programs such as the scholarship program, research, financial assistance, medical alert ID's, etc, which have also provided  many years of support, advocacy, and education to our family and friends in the area living with bleeding disorders. This is HACA's main fundraiser of the year. 

This year our walk has returned to Lake Accotink in Springfield, VA. It will take place on Saturday, October 19th. from 9:00 AM  - 1:00 PM. We will gather at the McLaren-Sargent Pavilion, which is easiest to park and walk to from the 5660 Heming Avenue entrance of the park. A picnic and game will also be provided as usual. Please consider joining our walk this year. If you are unable to walk, please consider making a donation to our team. 

I walk to support my wonderful children, Kirstin and Spencer, for continued and safe access to the care needed to manage their Hemophilia B. Thank you in advance for helping us reach our goal.
