This is one of the most things that is near and dear to my heart. My mother is currently suffering from dementia, each passing day is hard for my dad who is her primary caregiver. My siblings and I keep in touch with each other making sure we are there for each other and our dad, all while continuing to talk to our mom and let her know how much we love her. Alzheimer’s and Dementia are not new to our family. My grandfather, my mother’s father passed away from it and my Nana, my dad's mother suffered from dementia. I pray each night that they will find a cure and will do my little part to keep this very horrible disease on the hearts and minds of everyone.
