Dear Family and Friends,

As many of you know, our crazy little girls, Esti and Shai, entered the world over two months earlier than expected, spending countless days and nights in the NICU at South Miami Hospital. Their early arrival brought us together in the most unexpected way—through shared experiences and a profound bond that formed while navigating the NICU. Chelsea’s daughter, Shai, arrived a few months before Esti, and I vividly remember how Chelsea's kindness and wisdom about the NICU process became a guiding light for us as we faced our own challenges with Esti. Little did we know that just a year later, these two resilient girls would not only be thriving but would also find themselves in the same school and classroom.

During what was a terrifying and uncharted journey for both of us, we were introduced to ICU baby, a nonprofit organization that provides emotional and financial support to families enduring the NICU experience in South Florida. Through ICU baby, we were paired with mentors who offered unwavering support—sitting with us in the hospital, regularly checking in, and helping us navigate those difficult days. ICU baby became a lifeline for our families, and we remain eternally grateful for the care and compassion they provided.

Today, we are beyond blessed to see Esti and Shai as happy, healthy, and thriving little girls. Inspired by our own journeys, we have each found ways to give back to ICU baby. Chelsea now chairs the annual Little Miracles Luncheon, which raises awareness about the challenges these "little miracles" face in the NICU and helps generate crucial funds for their families. I have been honored to work as a parent mentor, supporting other families at South Miami Hospital as they navigate their NICU journeys.

On November 3rd, our families will participate in ICU Baby’s Hope Parade and we would love for you to join our team and/or support our team!
