Jim was a TFA Corps Member (Phoenix ‘96), and, as a journalist and alumnus, sought to create a world where all voices are valued and heard. We created this team as an opportunity for TFA and TFA-affiliates (e.g. partner organizations, fellow educators, prospective corps members, etc.) to join the run or simply make a donation. We seek to honor Jim's life, values, and moral courage, and contribute to the important work of the Foley Foundation as they seek to bring Americans home who are unjustly held abroad. This team is led by two alumni on Teach For America’s staff, David Levinson (NYC ‘09) and Matt Walker (Los Angeles ‘95).
