Our pal, Eddie, loved the dragon boat races. So this year, we are racing in his honor and fundraising for a cause he loved dearly! Eddie meant a whole lot to Jake and me — he meant a whole lot to anyone that ever had the honor of encountering him. He was a mentor, friend, husband, father, Jesus lover and all around champ. It is a privilege not only to have known him but to have been known by him. Eddie was the kind of guy that got himself “ordained” via the internet to officiate our wedding & when COVID canceled travel, he did it via FaceTime when we eloped! I will never be able to thank him enough for helping mold and shape my better half and the impact he made on Jake that will last a lifetime. As a teeny tiny token of our appreciation, we are gonna do our best to row (paddle?) a boat honoring his legacy and memory…. If you’d like to support the cause, we would be SO appreciative!
