Join us for Lifting UP Lives Celebration: A Night of Hope!

This event is a Celebration of United Against Poverty lifting lives in St. Lucie County. Serving over 11,000 individual households, graduation over 65 individuals in our Success Training Employment Program(STEP), and assisting over 250 families in crisis. All funds support our 3 programs of Member Share Grocery, STEP, and Crisis. 

With good intentions, many organizations address the symptoms of poverty by providing something for nothing. These handouts may help people get by, but they often end up stripping people of their dignity instead of lifting and empowering them.

UP St. Lucie, as our program participants call us, is a nonprofit organization that exists to break the cycle of poverty in our community through programs that focus on empowerment rather than entitlement. We are proud to serve an average of 325 families in need each day!
