Supporting Junior Achievement has been a passion of mine for over a decade. I was fortunate to become involved in the organization at the start of my professional career. It started in the classroom, volunteering to teach various courses covering financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. I continue to support the organization in the classroom as well as on the Long Island Advisory Regional Council. On February 15th, I’m participating in Junior Achievement of New York’s Bowl-A-Thon and really need your support. Please consider donating $25 (or more) for this great cause! Your donation will support Junior Achievement’s programs that teach students about financial literacy, the importance of staying in school and workforce/college readiness. These students will learn important life skills like budgeting, balancing a checkbook, how to interview, starting a business and more – important lessons that are not normally taught in the classroom. Many of these students don’t have the proper role model in their lives to teach them this important info, making Junior Achievement even more vital!
