Mehregan 2024 will take place in the magnificent Persian garden at Untermyer Gardens on Sunday, October 13. Her Imperial Majesty Farah Pahlavi will present the Minnie Untermyer Award to Googoosh, the legendary Persian singing star who has inspired the world with her music and artistry. The gala will feature sumptuous Persian food, music, poetry, and dancing, with cocktails at 4:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:00 p.m. The evening will culminate in a fire ceremony at the Persian Pool, which has been restored with the generous support of the Iranian-American community.

Untermyer Gardens Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) organization and contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The non-deductible portion of each ticket is $200. Dress: Jacket and tie, shoes appropriate for grass and gravel.

Mehregan is a benefit for the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy, a nonprofit organization founded thirteen years ago to restore Untermyer Gardens, which is home to the finest Persian garden in the Western Hemisphere. Overlooking the Hudson River in Yonkers, 40 minutes north of New York City, the garden is open free to the public and enjoyed by more than 200,000 visitors a year.
