Parkinsons disease has been in our lives for some time now. My Father in Law was diagnosed when he was 55 and he just turned 75!! It has been a long road with many bumps, hills, mountains and lots of lows. He has shown so much strength through this journey that I hope one day I can live up to him!!! He is an amazing man with a heart of gold. He fights the fight every day!! I will support him now and anyone else in the future to help fight this desease. Maybe one day it wont be here at all!!!
The revenues from our fundraising events are essentialto help ensure that no person with Parkinson’s in Michigan and their families are without quality care and support.The need for MPF’s respite care program has increased twenty-fold, providing $10,000 to families in 2018 to more than $200,000 in 2023. Over 13,500 individuals served through MPF exercise classes and 2,116 served through educational programs statewide. To date, we have been able to say “YES” to all that need our help with support from individuals like you.
