In October of 2023, I began a journey to tryout for the Olympic Development Team for USA Water Polo. This process has consisted of months of intense practice, participating in out-of-state tournaments, and enrolling in collegiate camps along the way. After several rounds of tryouts against the best competitors in the country, I was chosen to attend the National Team Selection Camp to have the opportunity to represent the Olympic Development Team for USA Water Polo! This selection means a big deal to me because it identifies me as one of the top water polo athletes in the nation for my age group! Attending NTSC is an incredible opportunity for me to hone my skills alongside elite athletes and coaches from across the country. Ahead of attending NTSC, part of my selection is to bring awareness to the sport and to fundraise to support the Olympic Development Program. USA Water Polo receives no government funding or funding from the Unites States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. This program is only possible with donor support.
