"Water polo is my happy place", people often hear me say. I'm so fortunate to have found this sport because it's given me direction in my life and helped me persevere though hard times. I started playing water polo over two and a half years ago. It was during a hard time in my life. I had just lost my aunt and it was really hard for me. She was like a second mom to me and all my siblings. Water polo really helped me and gave me something to looking forward to doing each day. Now, several years later, I have worked hard and trained to make it to the Olympic Development Program National Training Selection Camp. It would really help and encourage me on this water polo journey if you could support this opportunity.
