Hi everyone! My name is Shannon Addario and I am so excited to say I have partnered with Junior Achievement of New York for this year’s 2024 TCS New York City Marathon! I am beyond thrilled to run my first ever marathon this November on behalf of such a great organization. Junior Achievement is national nonprofit founded on the financial education of young people to ensure their future economic success. Core areas of their programs spotlight on entrepreneurial and work skills that can better prepare students to feel and act confident in their future endeavors. To date, Junior Achievement has over 100 area offices nationwide that reach 4.8 million students. Specifically, Junior Achievement of New York impacts 57,000 students annually across the greater New York City area. My goal is to raise $3,500 for the students of New York to ensure these foundational blocks continue to reach children & set them up for their inevitable successes. Every dollar counts towards this 26.2 mile journey and it will all be dedicated to those that support me and the children positively impacted every day by Junior Achievement of New York. Go Team JA!!
