The JOY International Paws for Freedom Dog Walk is a way to raise funds to celebrate the freedom and hope given to at-risk and trafficked children around the world.
JOY International, a non-profit based out of Conifer, Colorado, is dedicated to the prevention of child trafficking and to the freedom, healing, and empowerment of trafficked children, teens, and young adults worldwide.
By participating, you and your pup will be helping us reach our $12,000 goal to bring freedom and healing to child survivors of trafficking around the world!
The JOY International Paws for Freedom Dog Walk includes walking with your dog for 30, 60, or 90 miles, anytime, from October 1, 2024-December 31, 2024. You choose the miles you want to walk, the dates you want to walk, and the place!
No pup...no problem! Walk with a friend and their pup, walk a dog from a local shelter or a friend's dog, or support the event by making a donation!
Join the fight for freedom by registering your dogs to walk today! Registering is free, but each dog needs to raise $30 to get a free Paws for Freedom bandana!
Registration and Challenge opens October 1, 2024 at 9 AM MT.
How it Works:
*Click on the Register Button below and choose if you will be walking as an individual or as a team.
*Choose the number of dogs you are registering and click on that number in the drop down box.
*Set your goal.
*Choose the months and set the miles you want to walk! Walk 30, 60, or 90 miles anytime, anyplace between October 1, 2024-December 31, 2024. Add this to your Individual/Team Fundraising Page.
*Add pics and updates to your page!
*Once $30 is raised by each pup, each one will receive a beautiful blue bandana.
*Businesses sponsoring $250 or more will be able to have their logo, webiste, and business description on the Paws for Freedom Page. To submit your logo, email a high resolution logo to info@joy.org.
