I am raising money for a cause that is near to me. I’m a survivor, and as I’ve shared my story, I am discovering so many women within my circle who have this experience as well.
Why I Walk
I walk because I am a preeclampsia survivor. My experience is unique in a number of ways, but it is also so similar to countless women. I walk because as much fear as I had, I have an amazing support system and an incredible medical team that fought to keep me safe, and ensure my baby would have her mama, I know there are moms and babies who aren't as fortunate. We can do better.
