Not only has preeclampsia been a professional passion for me since 2009 when I first started working for this wonderful foundation, I have so many loved ones that have been personally impacted.

Then in 2019, while expecting my daughter, I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. Thankfully, I had caring, attentive healthcare providers who monitored me closely, and determined when delivery should be induced. Though A. was 3.5 weeks early, she was born healthy and I bounced back immediately. I'm so thankful that the work I did could have that kind of impact on my own care... but more is needed.
