Why I Walk
I walk because I want to increase the public's awareness of preeclampsia. I've been a labor and delivery nurse for 21 years. Preeclampsia can be a devastating diagnosis. I've seen a lot patients suffer from this disease, too many which had never heard of it before. I believe knowledge is power and, my goal is to improve maternal and fetal outcomes.
