Why I Walk

Many of you know that I lost my sister-in-law just 8 days after she gave birth to my perfect nephew due to postpartum complications from preeclampsia. It's common for new mothers who experience similar symptoms to be brushed off as normal postpartum challenges. 
 

I was also diagnosed with preeclampsia 2 days before giving birth to Dylan. My doctor told me I needed to be induced to have the baby or my condition could worsen.

Our goal is to spread awareness + make sure other families do not have to experience the loss that we have. Please help us reach our goal or join us in the walk!
