Why I Walk
Have you heard of preeclampsia? It's a serious high blood pressure disorder that happens during pregnancy or soon after childbirth. It's a potentially life-threatening condition that affects about 1 in every 25 pregnancies in the United States. We all likely know someone who has experienced it whether they're a friend, family member, coworker, etc. It currently has no known cause or cure and oftentimes a woman can have preeclampsia without any symptoms.
