I DO NOT LIKE THE COLD - in fact I am going to use a phrase we don't say in our house...I HATE IT. Evenmore I detest being cold AND wet - anyone who has gone to a late season Notre Dame football game with me can attest to my distain. But you know what I dislike even more? Losing family and friends to cancer - even now there are reports of more young people getting cancer than ever. Infact colon cancer is now the deadliest cancer for men under 50 and the second deadliest behind breast cancer for women under 50. Simply put there are so many patients, caregivers, and families that need our help now more than ever. 

So...March 2nd I am going to face the cold waters up in Lake Zurich to raise money at the 11th Annual Purple Plunge to help those affected by cancer. Please consider making a donation - no amount is too small, joining my team, or coming out to support all the plungees.
