Each one of us have been affected by cancer in one way or another. Whether it is you who has battled or is battling cancer, or that of a dear family member or close friend. We may not be able to stop the disease at this point but we can try to help those who are fighting the battle. This may come as a surprise to many, but my dad was diagnosed with stage IV Breast Cancer last summer. The emotional rollercoaster that came along with this diagnosis is one that I dont wish upon anyone. The silver lining is that it opened my eyes to the unwavreing strength of my Papa Bear, as well as the unconditonal love that surrounds my dad and our family. My dad does not know that we have created this polar plunge team "#SEANSTRONG" , and we are so excited to surprise him by supporting this great charity and to raise money in his honor. This is why I have decided to join the 11th Annual Purple Plunge. This great charity is raising money to help those affected by cancer.
