Bonded by Blood is a group of family, friends, and others supporting Sharon Adams and her battle with Leukemia. My mother, Sharon, was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2017 and although complications with a medication caused her to lose her toes on her right foot, she has been able to manage most of the symptoms of the disease.
Leukemia is a group of cancers of the blood forming tissues and also affects the lymphatic system, which reduced the strength of the immune system. It can affect anyone from children to adults and elderly. It is often caused by genetic and environmental factors, and although there is no cure, there are a number of things that can be done to help manage and/or prevent the disease. Purple Plunge helped assist my mom get her car fixed so it is safe and legal for her to drive.
