Trent has Hemophilia B, which is an inherited disorder that effects 1 in 25,000 male births.  It is a life long condition that he will learn to manage on his own as he gets older.  He is fortunate to have access to medication and parents who ensure he gets the medical care that is required for a condition like his.  Not all children or adults have the same fortune.  Why are we asking you to support this event?  Because the Bleeding Disorders Foundation of North Carolina's mission is to improve the quality of life of people affected by bleeding disorders through advocacy, education, promotion of research, and delivery of supportive programs and services.
