The idea of children being used and abused sexually is almost too much for me to bear.
As a child, having been the subject of sexual misconduct by an adult, I know the long-term negative effects of this horror all to well myself.
My choice is to DO SOMETHING ... to ACT ... to turn my own negative experience into FUEL for RESCUE - for even 1 child.
I am hosting the 3rd Annual Row-A-Thon to raise funds for JOY International and I am inviting you to join me in the journey to bring the JOY of freedom, healing, and empowerment to children, teens, and young adults affected by human trafficking around the world!
We are focusing on the Joy International Mutki Safe House in Nepal which is the home to 32 underage girls (ages 9-18) who have been rescued from sex traffickers. They are given a safe haven, education, vocational skills, medical aid, legal representation and more.
