I am participating in Season of Wonder to raise funds for children and families impacted by prenatal substance/alcohol exposure. These children and families have nowhere else to turn - Wonderland's Hope Rising Clinic is the only service provider in the state of Washington specifically dedicated to supporting families affected by prenatal substance exposure (PSE).

PSE has highly variable effects on the developing brain; often, children who have been prenatally exposed need a variety of long-lasting supports and accommodations. However, parents and caregivers who search for PSE-informed service providers or resources often come up empty-handed. With the rates of substance use higher than they have ever been - especially in Washington - the proper supports must be in place for these children and families who are impacted by PSE.

Wonderland and Hope Rising Clinic are dedicated to serving this specific population through inter-disciplinary, trauma-informed services, and they depend on community support and donations to keep their doors open.
