Because the services we provide change the lives of children and families in our community. We’re serving more children today than ever before, and the need continues to grow. It is incredible to see each life change and improve based on the hard work by parents, along with subtle recommendations we provide as therapists. Season of Wonder is a chance for our community of supporters to help give every child the opportunity to thrive.
I am participating in Season of Wonder to raise funds for the infants and toddlers who I get to work with. These funds go toward supplies we bring out for infant mealtimes, social play with their parents, and specially made books for hard transitions in their lives. We get to work with infants in their homes so they can be most prepared for learning and playing, but insurance doesn't reimburse for that time. I love my job and getting to support these youngest families!
