Name: Mandi Bishop
Company: Twin Creeks Brewing Company
Title: Owner
Goal: $1,000
Why I am Participating:
Meet Mandi! She is a wife, mother, multiple business owner, entrepreneur and a breast cancer survivor of almost 20 years!
She found a lump at the age of 28 and had to battle for three months to receive diagnostic
testing as her doctor told her she was too young to have breast cancer. Knowing firsthand the importance of education and being your own advocate she is excited to take part in this program to continue to raise awareness and funds.
Mandi has worked for 27 years with her father at their answering service, The Answer Network, in Roanoke. In 2016 she and her husband became co-owners of Twin Creeks Brewing Company in Vinton. She is also an Executive Team Leader with ACN and an Independent Consultant with Scentsy. In 2023 she signed up to volunteer with the VBCF and is looking forward to those opportunities.
She loves to spend time with her family, read, be at the beach and play with her dogs and cat. Mandi and her husband live in Botetourt county.

What is a Sole Star?
The Sole Stars campaign engages leaders in our communities as representatives in the fight against breast cancer. During the month-long campaign, each Sole Star will raise or give a minimum of $1,000, which will be used to support the work of the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF.) The money raised through the Roanoke Sole Stars campaign will pay for breast health services like diagnostic mammograms, MRIs, ultrasounds and biopsies for uninsured and underinsured women in Southwest Virginia.
