Title: Owner
Goal: $4,000
Why I am Participating:
I am Hunter Johnson. I live in Grandin with my wife Katie, son Jude, and daughter Ryan. For the last 13 years, I have been Co-Owner of Lucky Restaurant and Fortunato Restaurant on Kirk Avenue in Downtown Roanoke. I am participating in Sole Stars because my wife recently battled breast cancer. Because of her annual mammogram, it was detected early. I want to help ensure that other women have access to the tools for early detection.

What is a Sole Star?
The Sole Stars campaign engages leaders in our communities as representatives in the fight against breast cancer. During the month-long campaign, each Sole Star will raise or give a minimum of $1,000, which will be used to support the work of the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF.) The money raised through the Roanoke Sole Stars campaign will pay for breast health services like diagnostic mammograms, MRIs, ultrasounds and biopsies for uninsured and underinsured women in Southwest Virginia.
