Hello! 

This year the Lighthouse is championing our Low Vision Services program for our Spring Campaign! 

The Low Vision Services program (LVS) is a critical service that supports our employees with low vision and vision impairment, as well as serving the greater Puget Sound area through our secondary care clinic and store! 

The clinic is essentially the only low vision clinic in the area, and sees hundreds of clients a year, meeting and supporting people on their vision loss journey. 

The incredibly knowledgeable LVS staff are always here to help folks find the best tools to both adapt to their vision loss, and utilize their remaining vision to maintain independence and feel empowered to keep living a fulfilling life. 

Our goal with this campaign is to raise $125k overall, and all that money goes directly back to the program to support things like:

• Updating equipment so our clients and staff have access to the latest tools and technology
• Our Uncompensated Care fund allows those without insurance coverage to have access to Low Vision care. 
• Expanded capacity to allow the program to meet the growing needs of a community
