This team is dedicated to honoring the legacy and life of our beloved son, Keshawn “Champ” Vaughn (1-18-2010 to 8-28-2019). We invite you to join our cause or form your own team. Your support is invaluable as we strive to raise awareness about autism, advocate for special education, and organize community events in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.

Keshawn, our love for you knows no bounds. Not a day, hour, minute, or second passes without thoughts of you. Grief is a complex journey, where amidst the sorrow of loss, we discover hidden treasures. You, Keshawn, were one of our most cherished treasures.

Diagnosed with autism at the age of two, Keshawn's journey was marked by numerous challenges and triumphs. We tried countless biomedical treatments in pursuit of a better life for him, yet none yielded the desired results. It was only when we enrolled Keshawn at the Wayman Center in Plano, TX, that we witnessed significant progress, thanks to the exceptional ABA therapy services offered there.

However, at the age of 8.5, Keshawn was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Despite the immense challenges, our unwavering faith in God sustained us. In our weakest moments, His strength carried us through. We find solace in knowing that one day, all suffering will cease, and we will be reunited with our beloved son.

Keshawn, you are deeply loved and forever remembered. You rest in Heaven, dear boy, and our thoughts are with you always.
