2024 Stuff The Bus School Supply Drive

Delta Rho Lambda was established by eight professional Black Men on September 3, 1949, in San Antonio, TX. Since its inception, Delta Rho Lambda has been a beacon of leadership, service, and advocacy in the community.

Our chapter is dedicated to upholding the values and principles of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and serving as a progressive voice within the organization. We are committed to developing leaders, promoting brotherhood and academic excellence, and providing service and advocacy for our communities.

One of the ways we demonstrate our commitment to service is through our partnership with Communities In Schools of San Antonio for the annual Stuff the Bus Supply Fundraiser. This initiative allows us to support students in need by collecting and distributing school supplies to help them succeed in their academic endeavors.

Why Is Stuff The Bus Important?

Stuff The Bus School Supply Drive is one of city's largest school supply drives that serves thousands of under-served students and families. Many of these families are below the poverty line and cannot afford all the supplies their children need to start their school year. The funds raised through this event will be given to about 160 CIS partnering schools (elementary-high school) across 13 school districts to purchase supplies for any student in need at that campus. Your support helps to alleviate the stress of back-to-school expenses and allows students to focus on their education with the tools they need to be successful.
