Beyersdorfer/Krumme 20th Anniversary Team

Please join our team to support the UC Gardner Center for Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders! The Beyersdorfer and Krumme families have joined forces to raise $20,000 for the 20th Anniversary Sunflower Rev it Up event in honor of our fathers whom we lost to Parkinson's Disease. 20 years ago, Kathy Krumme, David Ariosa and Dr. Tew founded this event when Kathy's Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Originally a gala and small bike ride, we have seen the event evolve into a 5k walk/run, bike ride, after party and most importantly, an annual educational symposium for Parkinson's families. We have seen a burgeoning UC Parkinson's center, operating in various UC offices and buildings, grow into a world class center for Parkinson's housed in the brand new,  cutting edge UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute building. The symposium and event have become points of connection for Parkinson's families where friendships are forged and families can learn to live well with this challenging condition. Families are the lifeblood of Sunflower Rev it Up and we hope you will join our families by walking, running, riding, learning or donating to this worthy cause!
