I feel so lucky to not only run thee Chicago Marathon this October but I also feel fortunate to support Erika's Lighthouse in the process. Working with kids daily as a 5th grade teacher, I see how mental health is affecting adolescents in a variety of ways every day. Support me as I challenge myself to raise awareness and educate youth about depression and mental health and help erase the stigma of getting the support and tools one needs. Thank you for supporting me on this run and Erika's Lighthouse!

Erika's Lighthouse is determined to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression. We are dedicated to creating a community of empathy and education. We create upper elementary, middle school and high school teen depression awareness programs so educators and teens can create safe spaces to learn about depression, letting students know they are never alone, and there is somewhere to turn.
