I am excited to be running my 8th marathon this October in Chicago. The Chicago Marathon is one of the World Major Marathons, and I've been granted entry through Erika's Lighthouse, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the stigma around mental health and providing free depression education and suicide prevention programs to schools. Joining Team Resilience isn't just about running another race—it's about running toward hope, healing, and a brighter future for teens struggling with mental health. As someone who has faced and continues to navigate mental health challenges, running has been my outlet and escape, revealing my strength both physically and mentally. This race is for teenage me. Thank you to everyone who has generously donated to support Erika's Lighthouse Team Resilience and our mission to raise awareness of teen depression. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to me and to the countless teens who will benefit from your support. Your donation is not just a contribution; it's a beacon of hope for those struggling with mental health challenges.

Erika's Lighthouse is determined to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression. We are dedicated to creating a community of empathy and education. We create middle school and high school teen depression awareness programs so educators and teens can create safe spaces to learn about depression, letting students know they are never alone, and there is somewhere to turn.
