What Running for Erika's Lighthouse Means to Me

Erika's Lighthouse holds a deeply personal significance to me because it embodies the hope and support needed for those facing adolescent depression and mental health challenges. Their dedication to raising awareness, reducing stigma, and providing education resonates profoundly with my own beliefs and experiences.

Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the impact of mental health struggles among friends and family. I saw how early intervention and understanding can make a difference in someone's life. Erika's Lighthouse not only educates young people about depression but also empowers them to seek help and support.

By supporting Erika's Lighthouse, I feel like I am contributing to a cause that truly matters—a cause that helps young individuals find their way through difficult times and offers them a beacon of hope. Running in the 2024 Berlin Marathon and fundraising for this organization allows me to actively participate in their mission to improve mental health outcomes and create a community where everyone feels understood and supported.

Erika's Lighthouse means hope, education, and advocacy to me. It means standing up for those who may be struggling silently and ensuring that they have the resources and support they need to thrive. It means making a tangible difference in the lives of young people and their families by promoting mental health awareness and fostering a compassionate community.
