Why we are running for Erika's Lighthouse!
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page! Julia and I are extremely grateful for you support. Erika's Lighthouse is an organization that provides free mental health programming to middle schools and high schools around the country. Presentations like these have helped many of the students we work with in our high school. This program is fantastic in that it helps faculty identify and connect with students who may be experiencing depression or contemplating thoughts of suicide. We have seen the real impact this organization has! We believe the mission of this organization and the impact it has is extremely important.
In addition to this great organization, we are strong believers in the power of movement boosting your mood. So, please consider donating to our team page and joining us for runs (biking and roller-blading are welcome too!) as we train for all those who have been effected by depression.
