For nearly 20 years, I’ve been involved with Minds Matter Southern California, an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of high-achieving, low-income students. Our mission is clear: to ensure that driven students from underserved communities receive the guidance, resources, and opportunities they need to achieve their college dreams. Minds Matter has a 100% college acceptance rate, with over 80% of our students attending top-50 schools. Many have earned prestigious scholarships and returned as mentors, paying it forward. This year, we’re on an ambitious path to double the number of students we serve by 2028. We’ve already increased enrollment by 20%, but rising costs and additional needs require your help.
