I'm the proud dog dad to two boys that were both rescued from the Brandywine Valley SPCA. My wife and I adopted our first dog, Bennie, a Blue Heeler mix from the Georgetown Campus of BVSPCA. We visited the shelter that day on a whim but I'll never forget when we saw him for the first time in the meet and greet room and the first thing he did was climb into our laps and snuggle up with us. They say that they choose you, and Bennie chose us that day. Nearly a year later, we set out again in search of Rigley, this time at the New Castle BVSPCA campus. Again, we realized Rigley was the perfect addition to our family and after meet and greet between him and Ben. 
 

 It's been a few years since then but to this day, I remember it as one of the best and most rewarding choices I've ever made. Since then I've had the honor of joining the BVSPCA as a volunteer and proudly dedicating my time to improving the experience of the pets that are in the same situation that my beloved boys were in just a few years prior. 

Now, I'm excited to say that I've teamed up to support the Brandywine Valley SPCA and to help make a difference in the lives of the 17,000+ homeless animals we care for each year by donating and walking in the annual Walk 4 Paws event. I'm excited to invite you to join our efforts and help us make the 36th annual event the best year yet!
